Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
:snoop: If the Cavs make the Finals and try this fast paced shyt vs GS

I hear you but they do need to learn how to play and execute faster.

I don't think the idea is to be out of control in wreckless but to make quicker, better decisions...not always walking the ball up...getting into sets quicker is something they should have been working on a year and a half ago.

Spurs threw the game (isn't the 1st time), so that Gregg could say what he said. And it's only because the guy that replaced Blatt has brown skin. This caping by Gregg was non-existent when Mark Jackson was fired. To give equal time here, Cavs most likely threw the GSW's game, so that they could fire Blatt, who they instantly knew wasn't qualified to coach a championship team. Blatt did himself no favors when he confirmed that assumption with inept coaching. I don't think I've ever seen a coach display so much ineptitude publicly. From being visibly pushed around, to calling time outs that he didn't have.

TYRONE GA!
It's like I told you before, we don't know how good a coach this dude is becuz somebody didn't want to fall in line. So no one knows if it was best to get rid of him or not. All we know is that LeBron wanted the man gone.

Don't forget Kevin Love too

not a spurs fan.....

yes.. i think the 5 time champ, 1st ballot hall of famer is the best player on the team... silly me

i mean why would tim duncan make any difference in a game of basketball.. might as well just be the assistant coach right?

edit: actually... i do fukk with the spurs... i just find it strange to be a fan of multiple teams

i love the sixers.. that's MY TEAM... but if the spurs are on, or in the playoffs (of course) and my team isn't playing them... i will root for them over any other

cause duncan has been my favorite player besides AI and Jordan, since college... always played the right way, shut the fukk up, and played ball while winning the same amount of rings as Kobe..

and i like their style of bball... it's like me in 2k... fukk getting the nicest and doing 1 on 1 all game... just pass the damn ball to whoever is open, nobody complain about nothing except losing, and don't even waste your time and energy on meaningless games

so again... when they have all their horses... and it's playoff time... you gonna see the difference... dudes out here with only 1 player avg over 30 mins and nobody playing complete seasons... they gonna be fresh as fukk in the playoffs with 3-4 7 footers in the paint
Nah don't start listing accolades. I'm talking about right now. This very day. Tim is better than Kawhi? La? Really?:comeon:

It was a great win but we still have a long way to go. If we're able to stay healthy I still expect the series against the spurs to be a dog fight and go 6-7 games.

Pop plays the long game. I'm sure that the main point of that game was to watch and examine, take notes, analysis, he's probably using the regular season to create the playoff blueprint to defeat them. Pop is smart like that. Watched for match ups, holes to exploit, possible rotations and defenses. Which is the smart thing to do. Instead of overreacting and pretending that because you aren't out their level now means you can't be at their level at all.

It's posts like this that give everyone who says you're full of sh*t valid reasons for believing so.

Spurs are the best team in the league and it's not close. It's been that way for several years. They threw the Finals against the Heat (sitting Duncan and Parker in the final moments, giving Lj wide open shots, all of which happened in games 6 and 7, etc). Won't go too deeply in to it, but let's just say even Charlamagne from the Breakfast Club asked Danny Green straight out if the league told them that Lebron needed to win. They threw the 1st round last season against a the team they swept in the playoffs before that one. If the Spurs don't win the title, they threw whatever series they "lost". That is, unless the most talented team (not to be confused with the best team) in the league (the Cavs) actually get their act together by June, which is unlikely.

this ain't 1 on 1... yea i'd say tim is more needed on defense and in the post than either of them when facing GS

is kawhi stopping a damn thing?? nope... they still shot the lights out

LA is good but is he shutting down the post or abusing bogut?? nope

now if kawhi is guarding outside knowing if you too fast and blow by him, you still got duncan AND la down low... well now you have a problem

slow the shyt down immensely by throwing it in to duncan and letting him fukk up their non existant post defense

that's spurs basketball... if you miss one piece... especially tim... you might as well hang it up

Edit - I agree Blatt probably didn't deserve to be fired.
