If I'm not mistaken the Celtics are halfway there with Tatum for foreseeable future. Obviously won't match the ring count.

He was easily the best player on the floor not named LeBron James in the 2013 Finals.

Pop just started load managing him as he got older during the regular season which probably saved him from nagging injuries, but it hurt his statistic production and I know some people just look at stats, but they don't always tell the full story.

I don't put too much value into stats...Tony Parker was their best player more nights than not after 2008 if we're being honest

Parker was a nice little player, but he was not the guy that was going to carry you through a tough Western Conference gauntlet.

His best season in 08-09 he averaged around 22 points and 7 assists. For the following seasons with the exception of the 12-13 season he was 15-17 and 7 guy.

Parker was never a top 5 guy at any point during his time in the league. Even during his best season I could probably name 7 or 8 guys in the league that were definitively better than him.

He was talented but he was a system guy. Put him one of those lottery squads of that era and he would have just been another guy putting up decent numbers but not moving the needle for his team.

Duncan was not carrying the Spurs after 07
