The only issue with this would be the salary cap implications. If you're over the cap and draft somebody you aren't supposed to be allowed to sign them. Unless they make rookies exempt from the salary cap.

You can already sign a first round draft pick if you're over the cap.

Second rounders you have to use your MLE, give them a minimum deal, or some other exception if you're over the cap.

Ah I see, well then it seems like a no brainer then. I'm sure @tremonthustler1 is gonna come in here mad about it though.

With all he subtle shots Kobe has taken at Lebron, I cannot foresee him going to LA. It would be a huge failure a daily shyt show. I dont think @34 he wants the scrutiny of trying to play in the shadows of Magic/Kobe.

PG13 is a bigger mental midget than K-Love. Kwahi is NOT going to the lakers this year, over Pop's dead body. PG/lebron & whomever the lakers have wont be enough to stop the rockets, or warriors and I would say new orleans will give them hell.

I think he will opt in and stay in Cleveland it makes too much sense for him not to.

Only thing I disagree with is the Bolded

They already have rookies accounted for in the draft because whatever position their drafted is slotted on how much they can make. Draft picks have cap holds

I expected some rah rah "y'all" shyt about it being too far back and interfering with baseball season I can't lie. :mjlol:
If you push the draft back a month, you might kill off summer league for some teams because basketball jobs around the world dry up quickly by August

If the Cavs could somehow do a sign and trade for Paul George AND somehow get somebody like Kemba then he would stay.
