I still can’t believe a 300 lb player who ruptured his Achilles less than a year ago is somehow expected to be anything close to his old self on offense, and somehow passable on defense playing against the strongest/most athletic crop of centers the west has seen in the pass 20 years; AD, KAT, Capela, Gobert, Jordan, Adams, Aldrige. I don’t see him running 94 ft with these dudes anymore.

Kobe played at 20 % after his Achilles tear breh, just imagine adding him to the warriors line up, getting torched on defense every possession and still demanding touches/shots. If they just needed another shooter at Centey they should have got Brook Lopez. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna have a better season than Cousins this year.

Kobe was also 36 years old following that 2012-2013 season, his body may not have been able to handle it cause when he came back in 2014, he got hit with a knee injury. Not denying what you are saying, but just for perspective, if Cousins can put up atleast 12/6 a night, considering they won’t really need him untill the post season, then I don’t see the warriors being beatable.
