Why do the Raptors have to give up DeRozan to get Kawhi? Kawhi is likely a one year rental.
Kawhi’s uncertainty should mean that the Raptors could offer a package of players (Valanciunas, OG, Siakam, Powell, Poetl) and picks. Seems like Bron loves the youngings in LA and the front office is willing to wait for Kawhi to become a free agent, Philadelphia is reportedly out the negotiations, Boston is not an option. San Antonio has to want something in return.
I want to see Lowry, DeRozan, Leonard damn it.

Other teams have better younger they would offer and probably better picks. Spurs could get Rozier/Smart/Sac pick for a rental of Khawi. They just want Tatum
Lakers can give the most youth/talent overall but they don't wanna send him there which is smart and dumb.

Yeah that's something to tell yourself when you want to absolve your organization's shortcomings. Even in the long list of stalled careers and ruined talent.
If McLemore went to the Spurs he'd be a lot better player today. If he was drafted by the Heat he'd be a lot better player today.

The Celtics aren't giving up shyt for a rental of Kawhi. Smart isn't even signed yet and Danny isn't giving up Rozier, he LOVES son they seem to have a relationship beyond basketball. The Celtics would likely be willing to part ways with Hayward, but like I said Kawhi apparently does not want to play for Boston.
