"I think they're in the driver's seat for Kawhi because I think the Lakers have given up," said Brian Windhorst on The Lowe Post. "The Sixers have given up. And with the Nets, Bulls and Hawks spending their cap space, it makes it harder to assemble a multi-team trade. I think the Raptors are in the driver's seat."

"If you think it's a joke, you should probably recalibrate your expectations," said Zach Lowe on the chances of Toronto trading for Leonard.

The Raptors could build a trade for Leonard centered around DeMar DeRozan and some combination of OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam and future draft pick compensation.

There's no money :manny:

Don't worry, as of now like 200 players are projected to enter free agency next summer, teams will be back to throwing money around recklessly :skip:

DeMar DeRozan is a guaranteed allstar, on top of that they are offering a young guy + first pick. Lakers and Sixers at best are offering 1 young talent + picks. Spurs still want to compete.
DeRozan is already 28, is on a $30 million/year contract, and he hasn't shown that he can be the centerpiece in a team that can actually compete. What lineup are they gonna run with, Gasol-LaMarcus-Green-DeRozen-Murray? Really? And Toronto's picks are going to suck.

I thought that Sixers would offer at least two guys including Covington, and Lakers would be offering at least two or even three guys and all on rookie contracts too.

They got a couple nice young pieces and if they finally tank they could have Derozan\Their own lotto pick/Toronto pick
