Jerian Grant finally off my team :blessed:

What was the point of this tho? :jbhmm:

hold up whats wrong with Jerian Grant I thought he was a steady backup PG young and has some good size....Seems to me they upgraded Shelvin Mack and he may end up competing with Augisine to be the starter.

Meanwhile Isiah Thomas was trying to get the full MLE from the Magic probably where he could of been the starter and primary scoring option but now he will likely be praying for an injury or playing for a minimum somewhere.

but someone school me isn't mozgov making about the same about as biyombo for the next 2 seasons?

He's more of a 2 guard that can't shoot and he's trash. He shoots and dribbles too much plus he never passes. Unless they're planning on tanking again he shouldn't be playing more than 5-10 minutes a game. I'm guessing the Bulls made this trade to free up more space for the Lavine deal or they're planning on signing someone else.

Looks like everyone wins money wise

Here is the breakdown for the Charlotte, Chicago and Orlando trade: The Bulls acquire the $1.65M non-guaranteed contract of Julyan Stone that has a August 1 guaranteed date. If Stone is waived, the cap space for Chicago will increase to $16M in room (if the Noah Vonleh hold is released). For Charlotte, Bismack Biyombo is under contract for the next two years with a cap hit of $17M per season. The Hornets now have $120.3M in salary and are $3.4M under the tax with 14 guaranteed contracts. Orlando gets much needed guard help with the $2.69M expiring contract of Jerian Grant. Like Biyombo, Timofey Mozgov has two years left with a cap hit of $16M and $16.7M.
