There are like 40 fukking threads on this where they end when we inform you that Melo cannot be traded unless he wants to be traded

A no trade clause doesn't dissolve because he agrees to be traded to a team, it is a part of his contract, and until that contract is either completed or bought out... it stays with that player for the length of the contract no matter where he's at.
I think everyone knows this. You didnt read what I posted correctly

“As LeBron gets older in age, he needs guys like Rondo and Lonzo Ball to bring the ball up and make plays for him — guys like Lance that can make plays because as he advances in age he has to find different ways to score and make life easier on himself,” Pierce said on ESPN. “Having a guy like Rondo definitely improves the team’s IQ.”

Rondo is renowned for his intellect. The point guard devours game film and seems to know the opposition’s next move before they do themselves, a skill he perhaps honed playing Connect Four. Pierce noted that while McGee and Stephenson might not be known for their basketball minds, Rondo “definitely” is.

“[Rondo’s] a guy who’s been to the Finals, won a championship, been to a couple Finals,” he said. “So it just makes me think about the other guys because this is something that LeBron wanted. It makes me think — are him and Magic on the same page? Are they consulting each other about certain players that he wants around him?

Marcus smart.gonna get like 5 mill if he's lucky

He's holding out for $10-12M/year but the Cs are trying to get him for $6-8M. The thing that hurts Smart is that the number of teams with cap space is dwindling.

He remains the Cs' top priority this summer though.

He better get that KCP deal and try again next year. I thought he'd be an interesting fit in Phoenix for the right price. Let him play point.

Probably isn't related at all to the NBA offseason but they still make an interesting trio to be spotted.

Since Detroit brought in GR3 someone should try and grab Stanley or Ennis off them, I really like Ennis. They don't have enough minutes for some of these guys. Not enough bigs.
