On the flip side OKC lost because they couldn’t stop players while replacing a player who couldn’t shoot.

If defense isn’t valued then everyone should shut up about getting “3&D” guys when half of the equation isn’t even important to y’all. Might as well sign all those doofy kids from mid majors with a wet jumper.

I don’t make a big deal about 3 and D guys. There’s like 3 or 4 players in the whole nba who actually really matter and move the needle everyone else especially role players are interchangeable.

the nba is about your best two or three players.

This is crazy ... you cannot tell me that no one would have taken him at the trade deadline for at least a couple second rounders ... now you lose him for nothing ..yikes
I don't think anyone expected that shyt with PG to go down, you best believe Magic feels like a fool that PG and his agent did all that Laker shyt all year and didn't even give a courtesy meeting.

We shall see, I'm genuinely interested to see if he'll change. It took him 4 years to stop using the same iso plays at the top of the key and to trust the bench, but he reverted back to the same ol plays with 15 games left this year. They played like shyt at the end of the season and it spilled over to the playoffs
This is a team he’s never had before. He’s been used to having guards with no defense leading every year in Toronto. Now your two best players are st the 4-5 and he has a few guards that can make a leap and Stanley Johnson who can be a better og annonuby
I want to see if he runs as legit 11 man rotation for the first two - four weeks of the season and get some plays for Johnson and kennerd while trying to keep Jackson drum and Blake healthy
Don’t be shocked if a trade happens before the start of the season. The east is open so it’ll be some western conference guys wanting to run east and rub snd make all nba or all star

I don't get the Favors resigning for Utah...

They could have signed Jabari who would be a perfect small ball 4 next to Gobert. They are going to have a league average offense with mediocre spacing once again. If anything they could have done a S&T with Milwaukee, Favors could play the 5 for them.
