All this craziness and the Warriors still are favorites to win it all the next 2-3 years just goes to show you how broken of a move it was that Durant went to the Warriors.

Literally, there is nothing teams can do to combat that without making significant changes to their own teams as is. Might free up cap space to sign a big player, but will do so by getting rid of some key players that may have attracted that free agent in the first place.

Lebrons going to the Lakers. His reps met with philly today...but the funny part was his reps "met with the Sixers...in LA."

:mjlol:

that doesn't mean anything. Teams go to different locations all the time to meet players. Lebron has a house in Los angeles. It doesn't mean he's signing with the Lakers or he's not signing with the sixers.

Was just thinking that..

All these moves are barely moving the needle..

The Warriors are still the favorites to win next year

None of that has anything to do with what kinda package Philly is gonna offer San Antonio. Ingram and Kuzma are better than anybody Philly is gonna offer for Kawhi.
Ok... Well, they'll get him then.. If it's the way you say it is.

If they sign Dwight Howard, then that day the league should just give them their rings for two years, then fast-forward and act like we're in 2020.

Talking about pay everyone what they earned for 2 years of play, and start negotiating 2020 contracts for free agents.
