I'm a Lebron fan....But LA would be stupid to gut their team to get Kawhi...Ingram has the potential to be a 18-22 pt two-way player....Kawhi's a great defender. However, during the 2016 wcsf Durant avg 29/7/4 against Leonard on 50% fg...KD had a 37 & 41 pt game...Kawhi's not slowing Durant down.

What LA should do is:

1.Sign T.Evens
2.Sign D.Cousins to a 2 yr deal where he can opt out next season
3.Sign Lebron to a 2 yr deal where he can opt out next season
4.Sign IT to a 1 year deal
5.Sign Randle to a 3-year deal if the price is right

Will LA win the Championship next season? Maybe not...But it will put them in position to Sign Kawhi,Kyrie or Thompson next offseason.........And they'll still have assets to trade(Kuzma,Ball,Randle,Ingram)

these are good ideas. If I am LAL, I am not giving up those young players for 1 year rental.

Forgive me if posted already

we went over this already. the only thing I can think of is, he doesnt trust his body to hold up. he was pretty banged up this year but played through it. also OKC will have highest luxury tax in history. not sure what they are thinking here.
