Sprint has the worst service ever for the iPhone

I live in Chicago and the coverage is horrendous. I couldn't get service in simple places like schools, home, etc. And its especially trash since I have an S3 with no 4g signal

Co sign. I'm using one as we speak, it's been terrible since launch. Hopefully the new one changes that but sprint 3g network is trash in general....with that said, can't beat that $75 unlimited everything.

I pay $45 for everything on the StraightTalk plan via Wal-mart
Its a droid tracphone, and they are owned by... SPRINT!
So I have sprint, there service sucks. But it works

yup, currently everyone in my area shyt been out for 4 days.

Sprint is upgrading there towers, so most people near me with sprint couldn't use there phones in my neighborhood for about a week and a half
If the shyt recently went out near you, it should be back and better than before w/in a week...

I never had one dropped call during my 4 years with TMo. I switch to Sprint, get the 4S, and have had like 20 dropped calls in the last 6-ish months

Maybe sprint can tell your a fakkit and is just messing with you

iPhones are known to have an issue with there built in receivers. That was supposed to be changed once the 4s came out, but that didn't help either.
I expect the i5 to finally work fast like you guys want. TBC...

You can use gsm iphones on straight Talk also. It uses att network to my knowledge

They actually have different model phones. And use BOTH networks.
If your phone is not a GSM phone, then it uses the sprint network
Somebody told me not all there phones are CDDA or whatever its called.
And that some use a different network.. I think they said T-mobile, but isn't T-mobile a part of AT&T???
Regardless, what you said is correct from what I heard. I'm leaning towards maybe getting a windows phone any so...

verizon has the best data and service for the iphone but that monthly bill is bull shyt i had for 5 years an every month i had to call an figure out wtf they be adding to my bill my shyt was never steady and their service has way more dead zones

I used to have sprint before switchin to tmobile in 09...and honestly, sprint was fukking great in terms of voice service, cant say much about data tho

tmo is shyt compared to voice coverage sprints provides here in the bay and beyond.

wherever I go somewhere obscure my coverage drops one of the reasons I have tmobile tho is that the data plan I have is too good to drop for now....and Im lazy to do all the change bullshyt

gsm is big in europe but here its still not as good as cdma is. thats why verizon and sprint run shyt in terms of voice service in their big coverage areas.

I've had Sprint for going on two years and only really started experiencing problems a week ago. Apparently a tower is down or something. I'd say in general I'm please. I'm in Southern California and am in the Bay Area a couple times a month and service is always decent to great.

T-mobile is owned by somebody.. I can't remember off top. I was just guessing during that last post.
But Trac is owned by sprint. It only says that much in my phones info

They are upgading the towers. Same shyt happened here about 2/3 weeks ago. Everyone with sprint was pissed.
I thought it was my shytty phone, then once everyone I knew with sprint had the same issue.. it was all good again

Expect the problems to last for about a week... (I'm on the eastcoast btw)

Sprint is a crappy carrier but i fukks with them cause they're cheap. i use a Verizon for work and while the network speed is way faster the call service ain't much better.
