A solid flick IMO will probably be one of my favorites this year.. and I'm not a fan at all of Harmony Korrine's other movies.
The end scene kind of ties into Alien's obsession with Tony Montana, except (and this is my take)...

He's in the 'real world' and is aware of the consequences, even tho he lives his life like a fantasy. That's why he doesn't go out like Scarface in a blaze of glory, instead he gets killed like most real thugs/drug dealers do. The Archy character (who Alien also wants to be like) is supposed to represent a modern day Scarface/gangster idol type. The girls killing his whole squad and him (while he's chilling in the hot tub watching the 2 naked broads shower (His death is somewhat a death in glory, just not guns blazing) is supposed to be making a point about the youth today thinking they can do what they want without any consequences. They arn't living in the real world and are in the same 'spring break fantasy" that pushed them to rob the fast food joint

It's ok but great camera work.
This wasn't unwatchable, but it just felt so unnecessary. No character development, no real plot, no real explanations given as to why these girls randomly become cold blooded assassins. It's good from a cinematography standpoint, or artistic expression.. and the "Everytime" montage was dope and pretty creative, but again, the movie probably falters a bit from too many Music Video techniques.
I'd watch it again, just out of attraction to the dark themes the movie has, and out of curiosity as to why so many consider this a great film, that maybe I missed something the first time.
BTW, here's proof from Riff Raff's Instagram (re-posted to Franco's Instagram) that his character was inspired by Riff Raff.
Said it better than I ever could. I just watched the frst hour and Im seriously contemplating if I should finish it. Ive been sitting here like

Who all had automatic weapons and were busting back but they just walk through all the bullets and every shot they shoot lands on mark. And they never even used guns before. bytches weren't even tryna duck the bullets.

Was looking forward to it, finally watched it, was left like

Just saw this shyt. Like @The Antagonist said, this movie was unnecessary. shyt had no plot and the ending was the most shyt I've ever seen. The whole selling point about Selena Gomez in a risque movie was bullshyt too.

It's one of those horrendous movies you just got to watch once.
I honestly though Franco and his character were really good. Only character with any depth to it, especially when he starts talking about how he grew up.
