When you depend on streaming, you're at their mercy. This goes for music or movies. Damn near every classic older movie I want to watch is not available for free streaming. In my household, we have about 10 streaming services we pay for total. Even with all of that, there are movies like The Untouchables and Street Smart that isn't streaming anywhere and I gotta rent or buy just to watch. This is why I keep a bluray collection and movies on an external drive connected to the tv. This applies to music. Streaming got so much control over people and their brains that they forgot how to download mp3s

And when u tell people this. They try to tell u ur out of touch. It's fukking stupid. I've been streaming music since before streaming was the cool thing to do. Since Zune. It still doesn't change the fact that physical media is actually owning a product.
