It was a "misunderstanding", but the truth is that Steve didn't like all the attention that they were getting. Everyone knows that Steve is one of the most bitter hatin ass nikkas in Hollywood, I mean this was the same man who was trying to take roles from one of his best friends in Bernie Mac. They weren't speaking when he passed because Bernie found out what Steve was doing.
