I know in NC College Basketball is more popular than the NBA. I personally don't care for much college sports. I rather watch the best of the best.

Exactly, I've never gotten the point of watching college sports. :what: Most of these nikkas ain't gonna be shyt when they get to the big leagues

It's a regional thing. Like here in New York, College football is last among the major sports. Unless Notre Dame is good absolutely zero fukks are given about college football football. NYC doesn't claim Rutgers or Syracuse. You could also argue that the NFL is 3rd. In no other market except probably Boston, Detroit and LA, is the NFL 3rd.

and usually those guys wind up on your pro team, hence why some would rather watch college sports.

In Boston, the Pats are a firm 2nd at the moment. Much of it clearly just off their success, but they're ahead of everyone but the Red Sox

As for NY, football is slightly ahead of basketball at the moment.

They flip-flop year to year. Baseball's firmly entrenched as number 1. As far as NBA or NFL it depends on the year. The NFL since 05 has really caught up to the NBA. And college BBall fell off to the point where it's on par with and maybe hockey now that the Rangers are good again.
