i know this used to be the case with football. was it the case with basketball too?

i know in present day, women's college basketball has a bigger buzz than the WNBA.

Football = No, but there are some weeks where I enjoy watching college football more than NFL
Soccer = While MLS has its faults, college soccer is bottom of the barrel dreadful. Worse than women's soccer.

College Ball used to be right up there with NBA in a few regions, but cotdamn did that sport fall the fukk off. IMO college ball is at the bottom of the Major sport ladder (ok its probably above hockey)
