nah. widow is more like hawkeye's wingman. she watches him get into all types of fukkery, holds him down regardless, but also doesnt shy away from calling him an a$$hole/fukk-up/dikkhead. whatever he needs in the moment to get his act together.

hawkeye was fukking spider-woman for a hot minute. then got caught boning some random redhead he saved from a gang called the tracksuit draculas. widow gave him the when spider-woman bounced on him. but when she took him back and the redhead popped up at the crib with everyone after a big fight... hawkeye looked at her like "i'm back with wifey," so widow hit that ho with the "time for u to leave. smut."

hawkeye in the comics is waaaaaaaaay triller than the flicks. dude is basically a degenerate womanizer with a bow and arrow. dude went to a meeting of all the major NYC crime lords (including kingpin), and robbed them for every dime they had on-sight. millions on millions. had a contract on his head ever since. the crazy part is... one of the dudes who signed off on the bounty is the father of his apprentice (she's also named hawkeye).

One of Natasha's strongest relationships was with Bucky Barnes. Yes, the same Bucky Barnes who became the Winter Soldier. During the course of theCivil War comic book storyline (which we will all see unfold next year inCaptain America: Civil War), it is revealed that Natasha and Bucky actually had a relationship when both were training to be operatives. When Bucky later becomes Captain America (long story that I just don't have the heart to reveal guys), he and Natasha date again for quite a while before things end once more.

I don't really read comics, but wasn't the civil war story all about secret identities being revealed and such? Those are super important in the comics and nearly every other comic medium, but don't seem to mean much in the MCU.
