My only disappointment was that "The Beast"

wasn't as monstrous as what he looked like in the picture. I was expecting something terrifying design wise. I also think that "Mr Dennis" should have been more violent/threatening. He was at the start but then they took it away and the overall threat decreased until The Beast came.

him and the psychologist talking about those girls who made him feel their boobs. Was that code for him having abused girls before and she knew about it (and chose to believe his side of the story or simply not report him) or did that really happen?

I think since he was abused as a kid he was having issues with Reality. So when he was working the girls tried to play a joke on him and I think it was the Edwin personality that the girls had did it too which is why he was saying that no one will hurt him anymore and why they created the Beast personality. And yeah I think the Dennis personality was a pedo as well, which is why it related to the uncle who abused her as well

Just my theory.

I liked the movie. I watched Unbreakble right before then decided to watch this in its entirety.

Hopefully he begins the 3rd act soon and doesn't take ankther 15 years to make it

Yeah i agree with the spoiler... Probably the main complaint about the movie. McCavoy killed it though.

He has a 10 page outline he's been thinking about it for a long time since Kevin was supposed to be in Unbreakable. I'd rather he take his time and not rush and put out something wack. I believe barring any changes Split/Unbreakable 3 will be his next movie.

Not disappointed though... Gonna skip certain bullshyt though (Airbender) and I watched Signs too many times

But yeah I really liked it, Shyamalan didn't disappoint with this one

Strange feeling watching this, big fan of the concept but the execution felt somewhat arduous.

When he wouldn't kill the girls and it seemed the shrink had a bond with him the little air of danger the film had was gone,

that was most of the movie, unforgivable.

Am a fan of Mcavoy and he's obviously a good actor but alas like most Jack of all trades type actors today it could have used a star with on screen charisma. His performance wasn't bad by any stretch it just seemed textbook/checklist(ey) maybe it was the direction idk but would have loved to have seen a dafoe, prime Gary oldman or malkavich do this with fincher at the chair.

All in all thank heavens for the last shot because the twist as it played out was just well silly and then when she said his name I immediately remembered "Martha" . I don't have high hopes for the 3rd entry if it doesn't have a certain

The best part was when he was changing on the train.....the music for that scene so well.....and yeah I think they should have made him look at least 20-30 pounds heavier....i just felt like it showed Dennis after a heavy workout....didnt have to go crazy...but they dropped the ball.

And another thing.....M. nights humor dialogue is wack..has always been
