EXACTLY!!!!!!!!Bret, u either a superhero movie or u not. I rock with SciFi movies, but this sh!t was a boring thriller the changed to SciFi for the last 30 minutes of film time. And setting all that aside, the movie did a terrible job of making us care for the main characters.
The whole plot relied on us caring that the girls survived the kidnapping. Then two of the girls are killed off as an afterthought. We are not even given a reason to care for the girls. We don't get a backstory, and they don't give more info about themselves during captivity. Just a bad bad movie, all the way around.
low key its what drew me to wanting to see this.So no ones going to mention the ass on Jessica Sula?
Yeah you could see it poking out in the trailer. It was fukking glorious.low key its what drew me to wanting to see this.
I don't got a problem with any of that. Being kidnapped and tortured isn't something people usually spend their time preparing for. It'd make less sense to me if that first girl was able to come up with a plan without panicking; I could possibly see the main character being able to come up with an idea because of how/who she was being raised.I didn't see them as smart. For example, the first girl who went "off the rail". If she was more patient in trying to escape. Instead of rushing knowing he was coming back. And even with the hero in the film. Getting on the walkie talkie with no real plan. He could have easily killed her. I thought she would have a plan but she was as dumb as her other friends.
So what's the film room's verdict?
My spot got the $4.50 Tuesday deal. Its normal.
why was my thread merged with this one?great acting
one of the best ending scenes of a movie including the twist
roller coaster of a movie never really know what is real or whats about to happen
sets up one of the best possibilities for future movies.
anyone else seen it?
