It’s the same logic with dollar stores and rent to own furniture places. Yes, they offer you things for cheap, but you actually end up paying more once you look at the actual fees.
Spirit charges for every bag. Plus tax. They charge for water, aisle seats, and everything else they can. At dollar stores, you can get the item for a dollar or two, but you’re actually paying more per ounce or whatever measuring device is being used than at another store.

Ive only flown AA & Delta. I’ve had to pay extra for the seats every time. It’s the only way to guarantee we sit together.

What happened to JetBlue?
Spirit bought them out

At one point out of sfo, oakland or sacramento we had

Virgin Airlines (the goat :wow:)
Jetblue (decent pricing, good airplanes)
Spirit (cheap option)
South west
United
American airlines
Hawaiian airlines
Frontier
Allegiant
And more im forgetting

Now South West is so popular and the competition is basically gone, it has its own terminal/security line dedicated to it in Oakland :wow:

I used to do Jet Blue out of Oakland to Long Beach Air Port as a cheat code for $120 round trip and uber/taxi to my hotel in LA

Now all that gone :mjcry:

Spirit is a big reason I can run my buisness out of state in the east coast. My flights usually don't average more than 2 hours so the price basically makes it the world's fastest taxi for me. But I guess it may have been inevitable with how expensive running an airliner is

To be honest though I've never experienced any ratchet events on spirit tho. Never seen any fights or crazy passengers, I think it's more so the places more than the flight. Like Atlanta and Miami, probably would have more people ready to turn up and revoke their privilege to fly moreso than people out of Charolette or Orlando just cause of how wild those places are

Damn, you just mentioning Virgin Airlines made me shed a tear. I would take that a couple times a year to go to the east coast. That shyt really was the best domestic airline I’ve ever flown and it’s not even fukking close.

That bytch way too old to be doing all that. All this is doing is highlighting just how poor the service and employees are. People like her is why people that would fly Spirit over United or Southwest...don't. Its not just the customers, its the employees too. Mostly actually.
I remember when bytches like that couldn't get a job

I once tried to cancel/reschedule a $45 flight thirty minutes after purchasing it. The Indian call center gentleman let me know there would be a $99 cancellation fee :dahell:

Though I got refunded through my bank, its still :pacspit: that company

Don't see why this should be celebrated. They offered affordable safe flights across the nation. Yeah it attracted ratchet people but that's not the airlines fault.
Yeah that's why i don't fly spirit... and the one time I did...both the departure and return flights were delayed by like 4 hours :camby:
