I remember going to Dana Barros camp after he retired and he strolled on to the court in sweats after just showing up on the first day and he bet the whole camp that he could make a half court shot in three tries....he proceeded to knock it down on the first try nothing but net.

Shooters are unreal when just shooting around. "pressure" of the shot means nothing....it's the defense and rushing that drives down in game percentages.

Yup...Theres really only 2 ways a person who has been choosen to take that shot can think

1.) O I do this everyday, no problem = too comfortable.. could fukk it up

2.) Nervous as hell( who wouldn't be? ), probably so nervous his hands are shaking = probably fukk it up.

Making most of your shots and missing one and nobody caring is one thing. The family life you'll change if you make/miss the shot is another.
