DMX and Jay-Z had taken over east coast rap to the point where Bad Boy looked FINISHED by 99. That Puff joint Forever was Dud. Cash Money & No Limit had the south ringing out crazy up top, Rawkus was dropping straight bangers and the Westcoast started to make a comeback. Xzibit, Kurupt and Snoop all had fire projects.......By the time Mase was dropping Double Up he had already announced his retirement and that single with Blackstreet was just ehhhhhh, who cares. This was really around the time when Master P was dropping albums every week and Jay and DMX made it so that you almost had to drop an album every year or be forgotten.
I liked Stay out of my Way and Same nikkas but for the most part the album was trash. I remember it getting 2.5 mics in the source.
