Bp2 had gems, but the effects of ether was still burning.

Nas da gawd dropped God's Son and it made me rock the winter blues. Tight to this day.

The only time I was listening to eminem was the time he dropped the dope 8 th mile soundtrack.

I also blasted 50, SP the Ghost, cormega, and random mixtapes. The last time the east coast was relevant.

I've always said if BP2 was reduced to a single album with the best songs and the mixtape tracks out at the time (ie Murder Marcyville, Early This Morning, Addicted To The Game), it would've been nothing less then 4.5 mics.

2pac 'Better Dayz' was another one....everyone was playing this, 'Thugz Mansion' was on the radio all day, and I loved a lot of that album, the disc that had 'My Block' as the first track, was the one I fukked with the most. This was when people were going crazy burning cd's, people in my high school had big cd booklets and lists of cds, and I would just pick a few, and pay $5 a piece or whatever.

My Block
Thugz Mansion
Mama's Just a Little Girl
Better Dayz
Never Call You a bytch Again

Everyone else always played 'fukk Em All', and 'Ride on Our Enemies', that shyt was dated as fukk to me by then, a man who died almost 8 years earlier.... dissing Bad Boy in 2002...but you know how the white Pac fanatics got...

I was in Job Corps in western Iowa, 6 hours from where I grew up. Was working as a janitor in a meat packinghouse as a sidejob. There was one place to buy non-censored CD's in that town, it was a Radio Shack that overcharged like a muthafukka ($17-20). But I still checked SOHH when I had access to the internet to see what had come out and bought a CD every week or two.

Mlitary Minds was another dope song off that album

That song is just so :ohlawd: :ohlawd:

Hearing Pac, A west coast rapper rapping over a NYC sounding track was just so :ahh:

Pac first verse on Thugz Mansion is one of my favorite Hip Hop verses, so much emotion :to:

lol at that Xzibit album, I remember riding with my boy, and he was playing that, a burned copy someone probably just gave him, and that 'Choke Me Spank Me' comes on, I had the wtf is this shyt face, that was that awful Jellyroll production.

Yeah, both versions of 'Thugs Mansion' were classic, the acoustic one had a really nice Nas verse, and the two great Pac ones.

Still was bumping that clipse from the summer, that Xzibit Album, and I used to listen to Hovi Baby like 4 times a day it was so crazy to me.... The rest of the Album, not so much even though it has a few gems. That freeway came out towards the end of winter and it got so much burn along with GRODT. But At the very end of winter/early spring 03 was when Diplomatic Immunity dropped, and My life was changed forever

BP2 got minimal burned. I kinda wished Jay just named that album the gif and curse, cause BP being such a classic over shadowed that album. It took years later for me to listen to this album objectively and realise how nice Jay was lyrically and flow. I love a lot of songs on this project now

8 Mile - Soundtrack had a dark cold winter vibe throughout the whole album. shyt was dope.
