Those were the main things, but there was a lot more, I need to remember.

That BP2 is kind of a grandiose, mess of a good album, but I was anticipating that like crazy, when i was barely 17, I remember coming home drunk from a party in high school, that November, like the 2nd or something, and I woke up, hungover, in trouble with Mom, throwing up all over the bathroom, just a mess, and just laying in bed like 'fukk'...then I was like 'fukk it that BP2 is out in two weeks, whatever' lol, that was what was important to me.

The 8 Mile sdtk was everywhere too, every party, I heard that whole album, which is not a great one, that Nas track was wack, every radio station was playing 'Lose Yourself', which reached the point of self parody.

Remember 'Roctober'? Dame Dash was saying, among a lot of other things, that the Roc was dropping an album every week in October, I think they dropped ONE, the 'Paid In Full' soundtrack....that movie was a big part of my fall too, I remember smoking a blunt with my boys and watching that high as fukk....shyt was over ten years ago, I feel old as hell sometimes.

Word. I was a senior in HS and was always backstage working the lights and sound for my HS assemblies and remember being on my phone on and catching that BP2 had leaked either the night before or that morning. I think it was a Friday and I remember reading all the reviews with disappointment but I knew off the strength of Hovi Baby that I would like it. Definitely had some gems.

I remember Em's TES coming out in the Spring/Summer of 02, what about Cam's Come Home With Me? Was that the Fall of 2002?

8 Mile OST was crazy with Rabbit Run.

Dancehall was poppin' and NY was at the end of its run with the South really pushing in during 2003. The first half of the 00's was incredible.
