when they were still in business i always preferred ebgames over gamestop. i try not to visit gamestop unless i have 20 something games that i want to get rid of immediately.

I used to go ham when there were still or more companies that locally did this when I was a kid.

Getting that ad in the paper for NES, SNES, and Genesis games and be like they got shyt for 49 cents. I need to get down there. (this was FuncoLand then)

Then getting fukked over in deal for years, you just kind of accept it after a while. Went in there yesterday cause I had a gift card for a month wow subscription card. They didn't even have them. So, I just walked out.

Best one was me trading in a couple games for LoL cards around Halloween to get some new skins, and not wanting to technically pay for them. So I get my 65 bucks in credit, get 50 bucks in cards and dude says: "Just that for you. You don't play anything else?"

I responded with "I play Madden"

Somehow that shut him the fukk up.

They always push FPS games at me. I give em face all the time. My response. I don't play FPS games(outside of Bioshock and Portal) and they are like and I am like :cac:. fukk you guys and your fps pushing garbage.

Not gonna lie though. One of the managers at the one in the mall I have to go to is a pretty nice Milf, and they used to have a really cute chick on staff.

back when it was EB, it was pretty much the only spot to consistently find games. the stock at k-mart, toys-r-us, etc, tended to be pretty weak and inconsistent

Mentioned this in another thread as a kid bringing in a game, getting like ten dollars then they slap the yellow tag for 49.99 on it.


And like someone else mentioned I remember buying I think it was fable 2 n these bums took it out the drawer out it in a case and sealed it and I had to pay 59.99 for it and oh yeah I go home and the game is scratched

With eBay, amazon, craiglist no need for these bums anymore

Only beef I have with them is some of their employees try and fukk you on some "Oh this disc is scratched up bad", damn well knowing I already looked at it and that shyt is perfect clean. They do it every time no matter what, so I just take my shyt back from that dude and move on to the next one.

I don't hate really hate them. I would if they were the only place I had to deal with though.

Their trade in values are wack. I do all my game buying and trading through Amazon. Even though I have to wait longer for my credit it's worth it.

I never experienced getting a "new game" that was opened, that's wild shyt.

I also almost never buy new games from them. Maybe 2-3 times a year i`ll buy a brand new game, I`m always on that re-sell market

For a new game that just came out, 50% is a minimum being reasonable. But when you got other shyt that they are marking up 300% plus that is robbery man.
