it's a trip how SOME Black women have a million standars to meet, like complexion, height, money etc but it's never talked about...smh

but Black men aren't allowed to have any preferences, we're just supposed to take anything

Yup. I definitely believe black women have the highest PHYSICAL standards (for black men) on average.

But black women are actually quite fair on everything else like money and expectations despite what they say on Twitter.

Supposedly dark skin women are hard to bag if you're black. And since he's light skin, he can pretend to be Hispanic to get an advantage.

I can't say if it's true for everybody but as a dark skin man, I can't even get dark skin women to give me eye contact.

(And none of you better call me colorist. I'm one of the few on this site that defends dark skin women and acknowledges colorism)

If he wants to pretend to be Dominican then that should be fine. If he's not doing it from a "I hate my own kind and I want to conceal my true ethnic background from society"-vibe, then it should be fine. If he's only doing it for p*ssy, and he probably won't know these chicks for more than a weekend, then I don't see anything wrong with that.

If he gets called out on it though, he probably should say that he is only half, or has a great grandfather that's Dominican.

A lot of non-Puerto Ricans always pretend to be Puerto Rican during the Puerto Rican Day parade. Nigerians in Tokyo, Japan (Roppongi area) pretend to be African-American because of the advantages that association offers them.

Some of us are blessed and can pull off Hispanic, Spanish, Egyptian, half-Black, or even White (to less investigative eyes).
