I see the cacs and c00ns have attempted to drag Spike's name through the mud again. This film looks great and far from student material. I actually supported this kickstarter, so i'm looking forward to getting my autographed bluray. Already got my shirt, and it was dope as hell!

Didn't expect major studio production values.
It's got nothing to do with production values.
I've seen films with half the budget of this that looked more visually striking and cinematic.
The cinematography looks flat and it all comes across as amateur. I love a lot of Spike's lowkey, low budget shyt but this ain't it.

The trailer for this movie is AMAZING. Idk how many Spike films I've seen but these angles and shots are soooo good! I'm a quasi movie buff so I judge movies and critique them as I watch and this looks liitle like the movies I've seen recently. Plus it's refreshing to see a majority black cast.
Did I mention that main female character (or two, I think it's more than one) is a DIME! I will DEFINITELY be spending bread to see this. Shouts to Spike
