this film confirmed that folks showed back up at exactly the point the snap occurred
what about the people who snapped back in midair and no plane is there to catch them
Overall, the hologram stuff was some of the best effects ever in the MCU
It reminded me of the Batman Arkham Asylum level with Scarecrow

Had you ever seen a good Skrull before Captain Marvel? And I think the marketing did a great job of selling Mysterio as a hero. There’s no indication of the heel turn in any of the commercials.

Nah she’s a good Michelle Jones. I hate that marvel plays footsie with this shyt. If you want her to be Mary Jane Watson then call her Mary Jane Watson. Calling her MJ, short for Michelle Jones, is just as silly as Joseph Gordon Levitt’s character from dark knight rises having a first name of “Robin”

It was so fukking stupid. Nolan wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Just make him a young dikk Grayson lol. Michelle Jones as a character bears no resemblance to Mary Jane Watson from a character standpoint. They’re two completely different characters. Which is fine. But marvel is clearly going for a reminder, just like Nolan was. They’re going with a cheap shorthand to evoke feelings of a character without actually being that character. Silliness.

It was obvious to me who grew up on Spider-Man. My girl didn’t know until about the middle of the bar scene. Pre-reveal, but up until then, she thought he was a cheesy good guy. It’s like when Dark Knight Rises came out; we all knew that was Talia.
Oh of course. If you’ve never read a comic book yeah it’s not obvious. I was just more so talking about the cats here who do read comics, or say they do, and actually fell for it. I have friends asking me “isn’t Mysterio a bad guy?” and they should all know better
