Spiderman and Miles Morales is honestly overrated. Can't wait till Wolverine

Played through most of Spiderman. Just beat Miles Morales.

Repetitive gameplay, boring City, especially once you beat the game. Zero replay value. I'd give it a solid 7.5, nothing more. :yeshrug:

Hopefully Wolverine is better all around. I like him way more as a Super hero, not to mention I can slice fools and make em bleed.

You’re wrong about spider-man but i agree that wolverine will be fun.

If you don’t like the spider-man games you just don’t like spider-man
I’m kinda over it at this point tbh. I get he’s Marvel’s most popular character, but we need variety and the same effort put into other character.

Yup 100 percent agree, but it's presented so well that most people overlook that... Also it being a exclusive. For me both games combat and gameplay wise were such a huge back step from games like Web of shadows that I really couldn't get absorbed in the game. Also the city while impressive was very much boring to me also...

I'll give it a 8 because it did a bunch of things good to ok, but over all what it does the best is how it presents the game to the player and makes you feel like spiderman.

I'm not wrong at all. Combat is repetitive, you doing the same combos over and over. Steath is a joke and unrealistic. The open world is also boring, the same repetitive crimes

I'm hoping Wolverine is much better on all points.

Rockstar got me hella spoiled on Open world games. I also nitpicked Horizon Zero Dawn for having a somewhat boring open world

One of my sisters biggest gripes while playing it was how stealth worked :pachaha:

How are you stealth from across the field at a 90 degree angle?!?! And why do the guards never look up?! Especially when they know spiderman is in the area?! :mjlol:

I just told her sometimes you gotta suspend belief lol

Miles Morales was better cause of the extra moves/powers.

But I agree with OP. Gameplay is overall kinda repetitive. City is wack. Swinging/parkour is pretty much on rails so that got old quick.

It’s great if you want to feel like you are playing through a movie, but as a GAME it’s just ok

They probably held back on the other gameplay mechanics for the next one. Almost all devs who are planning multiple games do this.:yeshrug:

Mile morales got a few more moves so expect that plus more on part 3. Incremental changes. If they gave u all the ideas they had for spidey in game one, ya'll would complain that part 2 is too samey lol
