at least the brother getting some other work. Fast and furious aint gonna pay the bills forever. Transformers already dried up. he basically anthony mackie with slightly more range, need to see him in more roles.

this was so disrespectful :mjlol:

I don’t think Tyrese could pull off Triple 9, The Banker, Synchronic, Outside The Wire, and Falcon in ANY of the Marvel projects

:rudy:
breh, they both the same actor.
neither one is ever winning best actor

I absolutely disagree:mjlol:

Tyrese is not on the same level as Anthony Mackie.

At minimum…… AM is Will Smith but a poor man’s version (not saying that in a bad or negative way) when was doing Enemy Of The State (they even have similar voices to a degree)

If there was a tier of black actors…. They wouldn’t be on the same tier :russ:

for real, Mackie takes a wet shyt on Tyrese. Tyrese is lucky he even landed another role outside of his lame Fast character

Again not shytting on it (cuz some actors have been mad successful and great at it) but Tyrese for the most part been the same character in most if not ever movie he’s been in.

Mackie has been able to switch it many times

Poppa Dock ain’t Falcon/CA
Falcon/CA ain’t Adrian D from Pain & Gain
Adrian D from Pain & Gain ain’t JT Sanburn from The Hurtlocker, None of them was Takashi from Altered Carbon

Not saying dude is the greatest actor and top whatever.

But he’s very solid pretty much everything he’s done, gets better each time, and definitely better than Tyrese

Mackie is not WIll Smith. and how is having similiar voices proof of that? :mjlol:

Will Smith has a charisma that is capable of carrying entire movies and franchises.
Men in Black with Will Blockbuster - without Will? flop
Independence Day With Will Blockbuster - Without Will? Flop
Thats proof right there.
That's an impact you can't quantify. Not just his acting ability but his presence. Anthony Mackie has not willed a single movie to blockbuster status off of shere will(no pun) like that his whole career. He admitted himself he's just the goofy black guy that helps prop up the careers of white guys, like he did for Jeremy Renner in hurt locker. Tyrese does that same thing. WIll never took those sidekick roles ever in his career.

:mjlol: at using the bolded as example in any acting arena. Did dude even have lines in that film?

Mackie just Tyrese with a better agent. None of those roles were huge reaches actingwise. and the ones that were (like when he played MLK jr) he failed at miserably

I said “a poor man WS” and I as pointed out fairly the version EARLY in his career before he was “Blockbuster WS” and “#1 guy in the world”

Enemy Of The State wasn’t exactly a “Crazy Blockbuster hit”

You are right, Will never really took the sidekick roles but he also did have a different path being that he was already a Grammy winning rap artist with a legendary hit show he was the lead for :usure:

He by default had a different starting place and was already ahead.

He’s not in that position without either of those:hubie:

Tyrese stared in a hood classic moving in Baby Boy. That can never be taken from him. That being said he should have had a better movie career. He settled.

Maybe they need a Roman and Tej spinoff.
