Been playing the shyt outta this game. Completing many of the challenges, side missions and collecting shyt. I even beat Tombstone and Taskmaster.
47%(excluding DLC) trophy progress. Man this game is fukking addictive. Insomniac is fukking dangerous. 
IMO this game has the GOAT characterization of Spiderman characters and villains in any media. I love the characterization of Osborn, Doc Ock, Tombstone(didnt even wanna put a fellow Harlem nikka in jail. Dude looked TOUGH in this game), Taskmaster, Mary Jane, Aunt May, etc, etc. J Jonah Jameson is funny as fukk.
I'm to the part where the city is in chaos after the Ryker/Raft prison escape. shyt got REAL. In the game shyt can be light hearted but can get dark quick af. That's how Spiderman is... So far this game is going for an 8.9/10 for me. I'm liking this game more than UC4.
GOAT Spiderman game. And I literally played EVERY SINGLE Spiderman game(especially the open world ones) since I was a kid playing the PS1 one. Yes, better than the Spiderman 2 movie game, better than Ultimate Spiderman, better than Amazing Spiderman movie games, better than Web of Shadow, etc, etc.
And for yall complaining about the combat. Upgrade yall webcaster and other skills. And mixing it up when it comes to combat. I use webbing a shyt ton and times and it never gets boring. Love using the web bombs, web matrix, web trap mines(my favorite one) and other shyt. I also love webbing a nikka up and swinging his ass around. Also love using the environment. If this combat is repetitive then so are the Arkham Games.
One of the only things I dislike about this game is the NYPD worship but.... Its a Super Hero game.

But yea I dislike the freaking MJ stealth missions and these boring ass puzzles they make you do.

I skipped the puzzles on my first play-through, until I figured out that they actually aren’t that difficult to figure out.
Yea I skipped them when I found out you can.
started playing the game again, since I copped a pro again to play vii and the game is better than I remembered, finish the last DLC i didn't play, graphics look better on a 1080p monitor I'm using than 4ktv with HDR for some reason, maybe because I'm closer to the screen and seeing more detail

I have no problem with people disliking the game or some aspects of it. But how are you going to say its combat is repetitive and in the same breath say Arkham fights is better?
It's literally superior to Arkham's style just off the fact that you have two ways of neutralizing enemies: beat them up or web them to surfaces. The latter means that playing with your environment gains a new meaning since you have to take into account not only enemies' positions in relation to surfaces but also their status (if they're on the ground -> you can stick them to it).
Combined with all the different webbing gadgets you got at your disposal, but also the fact that you have several means to move the enemies around, it opens so many ways of dealing with enemies Arkham games couldn't dream to touch.
After watching some randoms play online, I'm convinced many people who are on this shtick straight up just can't play the game, resort to button matching in whatever difficulty they're on, and then talk out of their ass about repetitiveness
it's not the game fault if you can't play

I own all the PlayStation exclusives and enjoy all the ones I have played, that doesn't change the fact that all the gameplay footage I've seen of this is extremely repetitive Every 2 minutes it's that same stop a car robbery shyt
