I've been avoiding it too. Just felt there were better games out there to play. Put it behind Resident Evil 2, Sekiro, Dragon quest 11 and one or two others on my must cop list. With Days gone, rage 2, borderlands 3 and last of us 3, not to mention other unforeseen releases, I doubt I get to it until it's bargain bin status. Should I let it leap over those aforementioned list of games?

the game reminds me a lot of ‘infamous’ re: the generic henchmen...repetitiveness of using his powers/fighting...if I wasn’t such a huge spider-man fan I honestly wouldn’t have enjoyed the game as much and would’ve gotten bored after a while...it’s not a bad game by any means...but I saw some folks online try to rank it up there w/ RDR2 and god of war for GOTY honors last year...I think it’s a very solid 8/10...I essentially got it for free...but if you can wait I’d say it’d be a good pickup if you can get it for $20 or under

Bought it in November, yet to beat it. Funny see hype.

The Miles Morales and Mary Jane portions got to be the most tedious shyt I've played in a minute.

I saw the combat and I got Arkham city vibes where you just press the button at the right time for combos. I'll go youtube Spiderman combat on YouTube im talking about the trailer.

If you enjoyed this game and haven't played the Arkham trilogy (and Origins!) yet, that needs to be next on your list. Amazing games. I still prefer em to this title just a bit (I'm also a diehard Batman fan though).

Lord of the rings: Shadow of War
Assassins Creed Origins (I assume Odyssey as well but I haven't played it).
Mad Max (Although I didn't really like this game...you might)

These don't have the fun traversal of Spider Man but most of the core mechanics are the same.
Spider Man is unique because its Spider Man. Other than that, there are plenty of games that look and feel very similar.
Shadow of War gets special props for adding an interesting twist with the nemesis system.

I can't wait to see what they do with part 2 and the other supposed marvel games bout to be on deck. They really need an Injustice style Marvel Contest of Champions for the console, that shyt would be heat rocks.

Fukking game was flawless imo esp for a marvel fan. Only things missing was a Hulk or Magneto haha
