The fact is - its already the greatest Spiderman game ever created:yeshrug:

Insomniac next project should be Superman :dame:

I think Rocksteady is currently working on a Superman game, there's been plenty of teases to a upcoming Man of Steel title.

He added that it’s not just about villains. Civilians will be running around, too, trying to do their jobs and shop for groceries in between gawking and screaming at super battles.
:lupe:

“We don’t want you to feel like you’re beating up guys just for the sake of beating up guys,” he explained. “We do have scenarios where there aren’t civilians around, but we also want to push the feeling of being a hero in New York City. Spider-Man is its protector. Whether someone’s calling him a menace or not, he feels responsible for it.”

If that combat is significantly more fleshed out, the above quote might be the most significant thing that allows this game get the edge over the Arkham series.

It also made me think about the best way to do a Superman game. If they took the nemesis formula from Shadow of Modor and made the citizens of metropolis an organic collective that you are constantly trying to have a balance with.

Imagine gaining the confidence of Metropolis, finally, and all of a sudden, Doomsday crash lands on Earth and you HAVE to brutally fight him while also strategically attempting to avoid massive casualties. It'll solve the problem of superman being too powerful because the innovative mechanic in the game would be the decision making with serious ramifications.

Imagine a situation in a Superman game where you're fighting Bizarro superman and he picks up a bus full of school children and flies up to launch that shyt into a building but meanwhile his previous actions caused a gas leak that may level a fukking city block.:lupe:

You have to make the split second decision to see if you save both, save one of the two or neither and just grab that nikka and fling him into space.:sadcam:

Based on your battles and performance, the game dynamically reacts and the Daily Planet is where you find out the "news and emotion of the city" regarding Superman. The game could be open world where they continue to update these scenarios that could possibly happen but also have a main story line also.

Tagline that's marketed could be: With such power, will Metropolis love you or hate you.

Damn... I might tweet that to some devs. :wow:
