Is Mary Jane a superhero in the games? Were there any sneaking sequences as Peter Parker in the original?

I haven't even completed it but I will bet my house there are no sneaking sequences as Miles in the new game either. The equivalent to the MJ/Miles sequences in the Arkham Games games would be Alfred or Vicky Vale who I never mentioned.

And the way that so many of them just synchronise into your next swing .


Insomniac did something else with this game.

Thats the most impressive thing aboit it all. It blends so seamlessly. Makes traversal more engaging than it already was.

Just copped from GameStop a lil while ago today. The Walmart near me didn’t have any on stock so I caved in and hit up GS for the first time in more than a year. It’s actually my first game I’ve bought from GS in prolly 2 years

This game is 52 gigs on PS4, gotta see what my storage is looking like especially since Valhalla is coming to me in a day or two. I got a lot of big ass titles in my space...

Did anybody have trouble accessing the pre-order suits in the game? I used the code and redeemed them in the PS Store, and my PS4 is saying they're installed but I can't use the pre-order suits or the pre-order gadget.

At first I thought it was because I didn't advance far enough in the game, but I just did the Bodega cat side-mission and still can't use my pre-order suits or gadget.

Did you try restarting your console? That worked for me.

I didn't preorder this but stlll ended up with the T.R.AC.K suit. I'm not complaining but I thought it was preorder (or level 6) only. I had neither.

Edit: Somehow got The Spiderverse outfit, too.

What separates this from the original spiderman game? Looks like the setting and controls are similar. I do like the winter and snow elements. Is it an entire game or a short version like i heard rumoured? Is the different console versions just a matter of different graphics or will the ps5 version have something extra included? Definitely interested in this game since I loved the first one. Gonna get it on ps4, hopefully I can find a sale during the holidays, if not I'm good paying the full price if the reviews and everything these first few weeks are worth it. Can't think of any or many other games I'm interested in this holiday season so I'm definitely intrigued by this.

Gameplay wise it’s very similar

and it has a lot of the elements of the original

miles has new gadgets and “venom powers” to make the combat fresh

the story ofc is different

I haven’t finished but if u like the original, u should definitely buy this

Not even trying to stunt, but they need to drop that Ultimate difficulty ASAP. Spectacular is childs play coming off of 3 runs of Ultimate on the OG.




This soundtrack is great though and Miles' swagger is night & day from Pete's. His web swinging in particular while you're hitting tricks is Breh literally flexed at one point.




The combat obviously feels incredibly familiar but some things feel different. Camera seems to be a little closer to the action, too. Outside of the process of building up finishers and the air tricks being mapped to square, there's little to no learning curve to the combat or traversal if you're familiar with the first one.

Watched the first 22 minutes IGN vid. Looked gorgeous but wasn't impressed until the mall sequence and Miles' venom punch

If the rest of the game can deliver like that, this'll be official
