Only thing I'm not feeling. He sounds like he's trying too hard. Hell, Spiderverse Miles was actually younger but sounded older & more like an actual kid in a New York borough than Insomniacs version of Miles.
in the clip I watched yesterday when I made that comment I was like wtf...but he sounded normal tho in another clip I watched...weird...maybe I’m just getting used to it
It’s kind of crazy to see the world embrace miles this way after his initial launch and reveal backlash.
I remember when the first dropped on the PS4 a couple of years ago multiple dudes on here swearing on their unborn seeds that they'd never play a game with Miles as the protagonist because he wasn't their Spider-Man. For some reason, I don't think they'll be sticking to that.
I'm still not really a fan of what I've heard. I'm going to get two dozen quotes with pitchforks and torches being waved but it feels inauthentic and more fitting of a 12/13 year old in Coral Gables than a borderline 16 year old from Brooklyn. Maybe he'll grow on me as I play.
