Wasn’t close to my goty tbh but I’m glad it did well for insomniacs sake. My main contention with it is the characterization of Miles. I just didn’t like him that much in this game as opposed to the movie, especially his whiny ass voice.

fair point at the bold...insomniac was gonna be fine tho...it’d take CDPR levels of fukkery for them to lose good faith with their fans and any prospects of developing continuations of old IPs or new ones...ratchet and clank on the way in a few months...and maybe the real spider-man sequel next year

Came across this funny article. They were saying that spider-man miles morales sold 70% less than the original spider-man on ps4. They pretty much marked it as a failure and people in the comments were saying “duh, hes not as popular as white spider-man”

Now that same site changed their tune when it was reported that miles morales actually sold over 4 million copies just within the month, and thats with all their other AAA multiplatform releases like assassins creed. They still claim that it will be impossible for it to continue to trend this way “hold relevancy” at the bottom of the article.

finished the main story and it was good & even managed to make me a bit

overall, the game doesn't really add on to the first in terms of mechanics but I do appreciate the lack of filler and Miles' powers

gonna try and get this plat & jump on this Ghost plus play afterward

I only saw bits of him in the new games. Neither Miles or Petes voice actors match their faces. It is bothersome

Everything from the subway intro to the Rhino fight, up until the Kid Cudi music hits made this section of the game feel so cinematic.

Those sequence of events made the game feel more like you're watching a CGI movie, than playing a game, and I mean that in a good way.
