I just tried it. Not gonna cap but from where I'm sitting I can't really tell much difference in resolution. It looks nearly the same. Like, you have to stand in front of the TV to notice it. I think on consoles resolution unless it's going down below 1440P it's getting hard to notice resolution drops.

60fps definitely helps with your perception of clarity as well. On all the surfaces that matter you still get the same level of detail. Aside from less items on screen especially on the ground level, the game overall maintains the same level of detail in performance RT mode that it has in resolution mode.

this is a game changer
if both rt modes look identical in terms of graphics there might no point in playing in fidelity mode ever again
I expect all of Sony's first party games to have performance rt now

I know it’s a superhero game and all, but Finns tech shouldn’t give her superhuman leaping ability and to be able to outpower Spider-Man. The whole thing to me is bizarre.

yea this game almost fukkin killed my ps5...i think u cant play this while an external hard drive is hooked up to the ps5...but the game is on my console storage...im just gonna format the external then disconnect it

Played through campaign twice with an external hard drive - other than one crash on the first playthrough, I’ve had no issues.

Only issue I've had with the game was that Spiderbrick glitch happened to me and I rebooted. Been meaning to check the game out again since the update. May do that today.
