I agree but it ended on a huge cliffhanger (the most contentious part of the movie) so you can understand why people would be anxious.
Usually when big studios do the trilogy-middle cliffhanger thing it’s because they are doing a Matrix where the films are shot together. The third coming out 4 years later makes the cliffhanger even more bothersome
Damn I was thinking 2 years. 3-4 tho for a follow up to a cliffhanger hurts

Yeah look at Back to the Future Part 2 and 3, like you said the Matrix trilogy, and Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.
I knew it was supremewhen people were saying the sequel would be out in 8 months and the voice actors said they didn’t even get a script
