In my opinion, for live-action Miles, they should do exact casting. Miles is Afro-Latino, and so should the actor playing him. Even better if the actor is also half African-American and half Puerto Rican (Afro-Puerto Rican).

The one thing they should have done, though, was keep the Part 1 and Part 2 names (Across the Spider-Verse Part 1 and Part 2).

Some people in the theater I was in were very confused (and a few upset) at the cliffhanger at the end.

i wouldn't say I was angry but I didn't expect a cliffhanger. I didn't even know there was another one in the works. Not mad about because I was having a great time and hopefully don't have to wait too long to get the next hit.

Seen it 3 times now. Last movies I've seen multiple times in theaters were No Way Home and The Dark Knight Rises.

Shameik Moore imbues Miles with such depth that I'm putting him up there in the pantheon with the GOATS, Conroy and Hamill. For many people, those two are the definitive versions of Batman and Joker, despite voicing animated characters. It's no different with Shameik as Spider-Man. He's a fully realized character. And Spider-Man has had some of most iconic voice acting with Christopher Daniel Barnes and Yuri Lowenthal voicing him in The Animated Series and the PS4/5 games, respectively.
