This reads like last game: Denver playing right at their peak in the 1st quarter, yet the game is still within one possession. Not a good look for the Nuggets.

I said this in another thread but mpj is making a lot of rookie mistakes that if he was giving time could of worked out in the season before it was cancelled. Malone didn’t develop because he was making defensive mistakes that were common for a rookie. Does he need to approve absolutely but Malone has set him up to fail in many ways.

I am very conflicted about tonight’s game. In some respects I want to win for at least making the series competitive. On the other hand I want the gentlemen’s sweep in the hopes that Malone gets fired.:francis:
I've been feeling the same way. Denver's overachieved relative to their time table but his offensive schemes are nonexistent. There's no chance he has the creativity to create an offense that gets Jokic, Murray, and MPJ involved. If they win even one more game there's no way Connelly replaces him. I'm thinking we're looking at two more seasons before Malone is out of here and Denver has a chance to be a true contender
