I was just about to type this. Anything for a lightskin baby with light eyes and "good hair" smh. And most of these women are dark skin too, sadly many dark skin black people suffer from self hatred smh. This is disgusting and sad. Those poor children are going to grow up all messed up, to know your mother is so colorstruck and so full of self hate and worships white features so much that she took sperm from a strange white man who jerked off into a cup at Target and inseminated herself. Not to mention the twisted upbringing they will endure hearing all that self hatred spewed from their mothers.
It might sound bad but these poor kids are already damaged and it will be a miracle if they turn out with self awareness and not anti-black. We already have too many sell outs in the black community, it may be best if these kids marry white, we don't need anymore enemies within or people who think they are better than black people because they are mixed.

I don't get it either but sadly they exist. On a similar note, I worked with this young woman who was just like this. She's lightskin, looser curly haired black girl with a biracial white passing mother and a dark skin father. Her boyfriend is darkskin but every time she talks about how she hopes her daughter comes out lightskin with "good hair" and light eyes like her grandmother and that her son can come out any color, it doesn't matter, but with "good hair".
Like how can you claim to love someone but you don't want your kids to look anything like them? And she ain't biracial and her father is black so she doesn't want her kids to look like her dad. Then she's out here praying her white grandmother's genes are strong enough to give her kids lightskin,light eyes and "good hair". Her man knows this and doesn't see a problem. How are you with someone who wants y'all kids to look nothing like you?
