The fukked up thing is, the thing they were protesting wasn't really about Nelly, it wasn't Nelly who was hurt by the protests it was his chairty aimed at combating the lack of bone marrow transplants or something . His sister who he started the drive on behalf died shortly after the protests began and support withdrew from the bone marrow charity drive. So in a sense, black feminists killed Nelly's sister that's what prompted his recent revisited statement about wanting to kick someones ass over the spelman protests.

Kerry Washington isn't the first Black female lead character, why are you drawn to the show? Let me guess, the writing is good.
Its a good show...Good writing and acting. However, I am not a black feminist and I don't hate black men (I don't think black feminist do either). I barely read what Moya wrote, it got boring after the first two paragraphs. Also, I didn't like the "Tip Drill" video or song cause it was wack to me. The "Raindrops" video by Jeremiah was better.

They actually held another drive after NELLY cancelled the one he planned that actually had better numbers and more participants for that charity. Nelly cancelled the drive not Spelman

I was down in the AUC when this shyt popped off..when this song would come on in the club they would stop dancing and right after when the ying yang twins came on they would start p-popping. It was disgusting, but also the greatest time of my life
