Nah, beauty is SOMEWHAT objective while preference is PURELY subjective
I can be truthful and tell when a girl is a dime but might not be my type. There are 7/8 that I'd take over certain dimes. Preference isn't as tangible and most of the times, emotional, where as attractiveness can be quantified by shyt like how curvy someone, facial structure, head shape, skin tone, height, lips, voluptuousness, etc
The Coli gets the two confused which is why they think some random Instagram model is hotter than Adriana Lima

All I know is that when I see someone, I either find that person attractive or I don't. There are people considered "universally" attractive, but that doesn't mean everyone will agree.
