Small rant to no one in particular.

The amount of constant outrage folks choose to be in is mind boggling at this point. Nothing said can even be shocking anymore because it's all shock value. Politics in the U.S. has been on straight WWE mode, especially the past decade. CNN and Fox news are the Mean Gene Okerlunds, giving you the locker room details that will make you anxious, fearful, angry, outraged and most of all, misinformed.

I recommend that the outraged stop letting these trolls get you riled up. If you look at the actual strategies and plans of the candidates, that should be enough to outrage you. How they talk about people is the icing on the cake. But no, every comment some idiot says has hella folks blood pressure going up. Then the hilariously ironic part is they gotta rely on this weak ass healthcare system, created by this same political system, to not die from stress.

Go outside. Enjoy your family and friends. Build your own community. Learn a trade or pick up a hobby. Understand your rights. Learn about how the government actually works. Vote in local elections and federal elections. Live life. Get off this WWE political hotline. The more you engage with emotion, the more money the politicians and media make. The higher your medical bills end up. I swear this shyt is like a Boondocks episode.

Thecoli is unserious. Go into the Latino’s for Trump threads here and you’ll see the same rhetoric with plenty of daps. All types of slurs being spewed, but when someone they don’t like is doing the same thing it’s a problem. We have threads like this:

But then clutch our pearls when I conservative expresses the same interest. Y’all be having more in common with conservatives than your lead to believe.

Comments section is crazy:picard:, Tariq and Trump fans are the same. According to him the racist jokes wont hurt Trump but lets get back to talking about if Kamala is really black.
So let me get this straight we got to get at the immigrants because they talk shyt about us (among themselves) but a white guy can siss you to your face but that's OK
And again Kamala ain't Black neither was Obama and all the other candidates

There's no way this clown can be taken seriously

I’m here to tell you that even though some have forgotten … I remember.

I remember what it was like when Trump was president.

I remember what he did and said, about Puerto Rico…
About our people ...

I remember after Hurricane Maria devastated our island…
Trump blocked billions in relief … while thousands died.

I remember that when our families lacked clean water and electricity,
Trump threw paper towels and called Puerto Rico “dirty” and “poor.”

But I was not surprised..

Because I ALSO remember… he launched his campaign by calling Latinos criminals and rapists.

He’s told us what he’ll do.

He'll separate children from their families and threatened to use the ARMY to do it

This election goes way beyond political parties.

Now let’s remember what the United States represents and stands for. It’s our name - United.

Regardless of where we’re from.
I’m Marc Anthony…

I remember…

And that’s why I support Kamala Harris for President

What this does is solidify PA being blue. I'd say Florida has a chance to flip but the Cubans drown them out. For everywhere else the tally will be the same on the morning of November 6 :francis:

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
As a “comic” he’s basically trying to play the “nothing should be off-limits in comedy” card. And I sort of agree but racial based over the top stereotype jokes are so lazy and low bar it comes across as pathetic. And like I mentioned earlier in this thread they LOVE those jokes but somehow never have them for White Anglo Males ironically enough. We know the audience that finds stuff like that funny. He missed the mark here

Like there’s a huge difference between this guy and a comic like Bill Burr who;

1. Has smoke for everyone
2. Doesn’t rely on cheap low hanging fruit(black people like watermelon, Latinos are all illegal, etc.) when it comes to overt stereotypes to get the joke to land.

And you can easily spot the difference. Only CACs find the guy at the Trump Rally funny while Bill Burr got folks across the board that find his stuff funny even if it’s about them.

NEWS: In Instagram video @NickyJamPR RENOUNCES his support for Trump after rally comment about Puerto Rico being a floating island of garbage.

Says he supported him because he thought he was better for the economy but never thought something like this would happen weeks later.

Virginia voters: if you've been wrongly purged from the rolls you can re-register at the polls under same-day registration & still cast a ballot.

Nicky Jam's decision underscores a critical misjudgement, showing how easy it is to be swayed by economic promise over human dignity.

Awesome. For the record Trumps tariff, idea coupled with mass deportations would cripple our thriving economy.

how exactly was he good for the economy? Granted, Covid came in and ruined everything, though he bumbled that and enevr took ANY responsibility for the wrong but ALL the credit when the vaccine worked and allowed the economy to open back up.

We ALL have acces to the same basic data:
how was trump good and bad for the economy
Donald Trump's economic policies had both positive and negative impacts:
Positive Aspects:
  1. Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (2017): This legislation reduced corporate tax rates from 35% to 21%, which aimed to stimulate business investment and economic growth.
  2. Deregulation: Trump’s administration rolled back numerous regulations, particularly in the energy and financial sectors, which some argue helped businesses operate more freely.
  3. Unemployment Rates: Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the unemployment rate fell to a 50-year low of 3.5% in February 2020.
Negative Aspects:
  1. Trade Wars: The imposition of tariffs, especially on Chinese goods, led to retaliatory tariffs and disrupted global supply chains, which hurt some U.S. industries.
  2. Increased National Debt: Despite promises to reduce the national debt, it increased by 39%, reaching $27.75 trillion by the end of his term.
  3. Income Inequality: The benefits of the tax cuts were seen to favor the wealthy, exacerbating income inequality.
Nortice how 1 & 2 in the Positive helped corporations more than the blue-collar workers (many of whom are in unions>I understand some unions do nothing but collect fees/union dues, but others DO go to bat for you-->ask healthcare workers in NYC)
