RIP to the first Spartacus but he wasn't as good as an actor. The 2nd and 3rd seasons just dragged out. Obviously we all know what happened but they just tried to milk it and it worked for you. But the story and suspense couldn't amount to season one. Best episode IMO was when they wanted to test his skills so they matched him up against all those Roman soldiers with the wooden sword. CLASSIC!

Cutting pieces of his body one by one. I was actually glad when they finally killed him just so he could be put out of his misery.

Its funny that Seppia was too squeamish and couldn't get herself to do the job, yet she still couldn't understand why the slaves hated the Romans. She reminds me of a typical white American regarding race relations.
