Season 2 is a prequel to season 1

Because the giu who played Spartacus in season 1 had chemo so instead of just canceling the show they did a mini series prequel

Then season 3 they replaced the Spartacus actor and picked up where season 1 left off

oo ok thats what i was thinking because they showed the rebellion at the gladiator school and then opened season 2 with a young batiatus.

Finished S3&4 in 1 week. I was hoping they would change history alittle ( since ceaser didn't really play a part in that war ) and have Crassus die or have Spartacus live..

The prequel itself isn't a season; they put the second season on hold. Vengeance is the second season.
