Egypt is tied with Brazil and Cuba as the favorite country I’ve been to. Wet with my parents and their cousins - my clearly black family was treated incredibly well and our tour guide visibly treated us better than white guests and other white tourists we encountered. That said, that visit was in 2007 and things change, but I also don’t take all these blogs at face value as there are tons of people looking for any and every microagression to make a big deal of.

Nah Im not worried about racism in Egypt, Im worried about supposedly after the coups/Arab spring the corruption is crazy and cops will shake you down everywhere for money, even worse than places like Nigeria who have a bad rep for that. I still want to do both Nigeria and Egypt at least Lagos has a vibrant party scene, Idk if Egypt is "fun" outside of the archaelogical marvels. Whered you stay at, Cairo or Sharm El Sheik?

Most Indian dudes are low key cowards though, when they are alone or in a small groups they are meek as shyt. I work with a gang of these dudes. On my side job 8 of 10 guys on the team are Indian. Whenever I've been forced to be around them, they are quiet as hell and scared of everything.

Its night and day. Everything about them changes and they are aggressive as shyt. All they need is one of their "alphas" to show up lookin like this.....

Bad how? The most sketch thing I had happen was this guard following me through a museum to sneak up on some “hey you wanna get away shyt”.

I wasn’t out there partying so not sure how it goes down when out on the scene, but I was unbothered - but again, I was also with my family. My dad got quite a few marriage proposals for me, so who knows what that looks like if it’s just me and my girls. I also concede Egypt changed a lot since the Arab spring and all that’s happened in the Middle East, so maybe it’s a not a great place to visit now. But I enjoyed every second of my time there.

Egypt's issue is sort of fueld by economics. In alot of societies, people lose their morals when they dont have money. It was said that the gropings and sexual assaults went up a few years back, becuase and increasing number of men in Egypt were frustrated due to not being able to pay a bride price for a wife. Not being able to pay bride price kept them from having a partner and increased sexual frustration.

The men in Italy made me feel gross with how sleazy they are in calling out to you, and the Spanish men in Barcelona were gross for assuming every black chick is a prostitute, they said some really degrading, entitled slick shyt. That said those moments didn’t ruin my whole experience in those countries.
