yeah it's blatant and the guilty people suffer very little consequence for it. African continent would have been decades ahead in development at this point if not for corruption. Even with outside interference.

My father used to work for a ministry in Kenya... I seen things first in the 90's hand breh. funds misappropriation. infastructure projects where they literally poured concrete foundation and the buildings were never built cuz money was being pocketed. I saw how these politicians lived. I saw how they spent our money... these actions were being repeated all over the country and then we wonder why China can come into Africa and look at us like a plate of food. They see it too. If we had built up our own country instead of the few who sat and filled their bellies and coffers we would have never needed China.

To an extent, this is true. Sankara and Lumumba came, and all they wanted for their people was for them to exploit their natural resources to the maximum and for them to have money in their hands, good schools and hospitals. They didn't want to bomb their former colonisers, they didn't even have a problem with the French/Belgian people, but what did they gain for that? Terrible terrible deaths, just because such autonomy is a threat to European economy. As a west African, minus muslim extremist causing mayhem in these regions, I'm actually looking forward to the economic outlook of these regions that Spain will be investing. you all good ahead with all that fear mongering bullshyt. You folks don't realize that Spain has been the country suffering most from illegal migrants issues. They need to tackle these issues besides just forcing them back to their countries with no job prospect. This will almost be like how US did with China why helping with infrastructure and building economic industrial zones back in the 70s-80s. It's up to the respected president of these countries to get the best deal possible so the population can benefit.
