My flight departs on Friday

I have a SW flight next Monday. I like flying southwest because they do two free checked bags

Trains are not as vulnerable to snow as Airplanes are.

I mean you can’t so yeah. Sounds like you really haven’t driven far for a vacation.

It’s a matter of practicality. You lose a vacation time in the car as opposed to flying. Saying you will only drive just limits options of makes a large portion of the trip a car ride.

Didn’t say it couldn’t be but it’s limiting. If people have time give a multiple days of there vacation to driving then .

The entire premise was not flying because of the inconvenience which can be reasonably mitigated while selecting to drive which limits options when a road trip isn’t the point of the vacation.

Not when you have pre check+ CLEAR and are smart enough never to check a bag. I did carry on only for two weeks In South Africa. It’s a breeze when you know to move

I drove to Austin this morning for a 6am flight to DC. Southwest canceled our flight as soon as we got to the airport

It was mayhem in there. We ended up just booking a diff flight with United. Southwest owes us some bread for this.
